New Beginnings Lake Charles offers both inpatient and outpatient programs for men and women over 18 years of age who are suffering from substance use disorders. We provide a full continuum of care from assessment through continuing care giving personalized treatment to all our patients, using evidence-based methods to help them recover from their addiction. All of our programs are abstinence based and are grounded in the 12 steps of recovery.
The best chance for recovery comes through integrated treatment for both addiction and mental-health problems. Our Medical and Clinical Team is experienced in treating patients who face a mental-health issue such as anxiety, depression and bi-polar disorder alongside their substance abuse problem. These are a co-occurring disorder or dual diagnosis. Our individualized treatment is essential in helping our patients receive the care they need to overcome their addictions and treat their mental health issue(s).
New Beginnings Lake Charles offers individuals different programs to treat alcohol and drug addiction. A patient may move throughout the continuum of care during his/her stay.
We detox patients from mind-altering substances in a safe, confidential, and clinical environment that ensures the least amount of discomfort.
Designed to provide a safe environment for people who are in the process of recovering from a moderate to severe drug or alcohol addiction.
Our PHP is a stepdown program from inpatient. Partial is a continuum of care that may allow patients to live on campus or when appropriate, the individual may live off campus.
IOP is a program that patients attend three (3) sessions per week, three (3) hours per session. This program is designed as a continuum of care to assist individuals that are in the process of transitioning to sober living, home and work. Most patients have completed detox and an inpatient alcohol and drug program.
Patients attend OP one (1) session per week, three (3) hours per session. OP is another step-down program that allows people to get help for substance use disorders while allowing the patient to work, attend school and maintain a daily life schedule.
The Family Program is designed for family, friends and loved ones to work in one-on-one and group sessions with our licensed family counselor. Family members gain an understanding about the disease of addiction. They will also acquire valuable learning skills for themselves, meetings they can attend, and ways to keep themselves healthy.
This program is another continuum of care offered one (1) session per week, one (1) hour per session. Aftercare helps individuals stay engaged in their recovery. It allows them a safe and healthy program where continue to improve and maintain the coping skills they developed in rehab, so that he/she can continue to build a healthy, fulfilling life after graduating from a recovery program.
Alcohol and drug recovery is a lifelong process that continues long after one graduates from a treatment program. Our alumni program helps patients transition smoothly from residential care to everyday life by providing a supportive, lifelong recovery community for those who have successfully completed our programs.
